Glad you’re back! Healthy, hydrated hair = shorter time in the salon chair + longer lasting results. To make your appointment run smooth, and to keep your curls healthy, here are a few things to keep in mind to make your salon visit easy and speedy:

  • Cleansing your hair every 5-7 days helps maintain hydration. Putting dehydrated hair into a weave or straightening it is not ideal and doesn’t yield favorable results. Arriving to the salon with hair that has been cleansed within 7 days will help to create better results, and a smoother salon experience. Any day after day 7, add another 7-10 minutes to your salon visit.

  • Quarterly trims (every 3 months) keep your hair healthy and prevent split ends from traveling up the hair shaft. This will cause you to have a longer, arduous service.

  • If you wear protective styles, avoid leaving them in for longer than 6 weeks to prevent damage, help to make your new hair stylist last longer, and help keep your hair manageable.

Here, maintaining health is a boundary, because healthy hair needs less, is easier to style and requires less time in the salon. It enables us to be highly effective in the salon, and timely. Neglected hair can lead to longer appointments, which affects everyone's schedule. To reduce the amount of time spent on the service, please commit to the above.
